The Santa Barbara Winery, located in downtown Santa Barbara, is a lovely spot to take your dogs and enjoy some delicious wine. There are wine tastings available.

This boutique winery, located only blocks from the beach, offers high-quality wines while allowing your dogs to accompany you into the store. A couple additional wineries are located nearby. As a result, it's a terrific place to visit during your wine sampling days. Their wine was featured in Meryl Streep's film "It's Complicated."

At Jamie Slone Wines, we're passionate about creating wines that are unique, handcrafted, well-balanced, and bursting with the obsession we want to be recognized for: Santa Barbara County Terroir! We only use fruit from great vineyard areas that have distinct characteristics and subtle nuances that convey the story of a particular wine. Our focus is on great vineyard sites in Santa Barbara County that specialize in Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Italian varietals. We are part of the new Wine Collection of El Paseo, which includes six ultra-premium wine tasting rooms in the Historic El Paseo in downtown Santa Barbara's Presidio neighborhood! The Historic El Paseo is the epitome of Spanish Colonial and Mission architecture. Fabulous restaurants, high-end shopping on State Street, historical museums, antique theaters, and world-class wine region are all within walking distance. Grassini Family Vineyards is a boutique vineyard owned and maintained by a family that specializes in the handcrafted production of Bordeaux varietal wines. They concentrate on using renewable and sustainable resources to farm their vineyard. The Wine Cask Restaurant, Au Bon Climat, and Margerum tasting rooms are all located in downtown Santa Barbara. At 5:30 p.m., the day's last tasting will take place.

Sailing is a sport that dogs like as well. Any of our daily cruises departing from gorgeous Santa Barbara Harbor welcome your four-legged companion. Our 41-foot sailing yacht will provide you with a true sailing experience. Private charters and trips ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 hours are also offered. Reservations must be made in advance.

A trail goes along the cliff from the east to the west side of campus, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, harbor, and beaches. A grassy area on the west side of campus attracts a large group of well-socialized dogs and their welcoming owners every Saturday morning and many weekday evenings. If you're staying at one of West Beach's pet-friendly hotels, simply cross Castillo Street, go through the park, and up the hill toward City College (on the left of the tennis courts). Stay to the left and seek for the gardens that hug the cliffs, then proceed past the stadiums to the pedestrian bridge that connects the West Campus to the rest of the campus. The bridge leads to a large grassy area with a path on the left and (usually) a large number of friendly, lively dogs.
