Lone Peak Park

Picnic and play places are available, as well as a paved walking path and access to a mountain trail system.

The park, which is one of Sandy's newest, has two tennis courts, a playground, an outdoor pavilion, 12 picnic tables, and a 1/3 mile running route. A big utility play field, as well as an informal softball field, has been completed.

Sandy Dog Park, also known as Sandy City Dog Park, is a popular hangout spot for Sandy's four-legged residents. A fully enclosed one-acre place for dogs to romp around in is available.

Hikers and bikers can explore the Deer Ridge Off Leash Area above Point of the Mountain with their dogs and children.

Galena Hills Dog Park, which opened in 2020, is a 3-acre enclosed park for off-leash dogs with dog exercise/play equipment and two picnic pavilions. This is directly northwest of the baseball diamonds in Galena Hills Park.

Athletic fields, a playground, a picnic pavilion, and open space are all available in this park.
