Grape Street Dog Park, San Diego's largest dog park, is located in Balboa Park and contains five acres of open fields surrounded by mature eucalyptus trees. Two dog water faucets and a human restroom are also available.

Dogs of all sizes can run and play in the big, grassy off-leash area at Morley Field Dog Park, which is located at the west end of the Morley Field Sports Complex in San Diego, CA. Small trees give some shade, and bag dispensers may be located throughout the park. Dogs can enjoy a leashed walk on the neighboring Florida Canyon Nature Trails after some off-leash fun.

Dogs can also explore two approved off-leash areas: Balboa Dr near El Prado on the south side of Cabrillo Bridge and Morley Field northwest of the tennis courts. Dogs must be leashed at all times when not in a designated off-leash area, and humans must pick up after their dogs throughout the park and off-leash areas.
