Pinole Small Dog Park

The San Francisco Bay Trail - Pinole/Hercules Area is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a charity dedicated to building a countrywide network of trails from abandoned rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an underused railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Fido in Pinole! The Pinole Valley Dog Park is a little part of the Pinole Valley Park off Adobe Road that is canine bliss. A blue and white sign with the outline of a dog is displayed. There are several mature trees in the fenced-in dog park, which give not just stunning landscape but also significant shade. Large boulders and a tree stump provide some interesting features for your dog to investigate, climb on, and explore in the park.

This magnificent park with forests, meadows and farmlands, creeks, picnic spaces, and playgrounds has pathways for hikers and walkers of all levels. Off-leash pets are permitted if they are kept under strict voice control.

Leashed pets are welcome to join you in this beautiful Richmond park as you relax.

A quarter-acre park is home to Bruce King Memorial Dog Park. Sunup to Sundown is the park's operating hours. Between Potrero Avenue and Blake Street, it's very next to the Ohlone Greenway. Several decades ago, this area was constructed as a demonstration forest, with mature trees on the property.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors, supports the Ohlone Greenway, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the organization.
