Orianna Hill Dog Run

We aren't your typical dog park. Though maintaining the park is our major goal, we also want to improve our area and help our neighbors. To keep litter off our streets and out of our rivers, we've begun clean-up campaigns.

Philadelphia Parks & Recreation connects people to new paths in life via the conservation of our natural and cultural resources, structured activities at our bustling recreation centers, and the preservation of our city's rich heritage.

Green Street Dog Park is located at 1819 Green Street, in the middle of the Spring Garden neighborhood, on a quarter-acre fenced-in site. The Spring Garden CDC purchased and developed the site as a Dog Park and Green Space, which is now overseen by the CDC and a seven-member committee of local citizens.

What began as a few residents using a vacant property to let their dogs run around eventually led to an official lease from the City of Philadelphia in 2014.
