Terri Peak Trail at Lake Perris State Recreation Area is a moderately simple, dog-friendly 2.8 mile hike that will take Petzooie around 1.5 hours to accomplish. This well-marked track is an excellent method to prepare for walks at higher elevations. The trail includes some extremely steep sections where you will gain a significant amount of elevation, is a fantastic workout, and is open all year. This trail is open to dogs, but they must be kept on a leash. There is a cost to enter Lake Perris State Recreation Area. Fees are based on the number of vehicles. There is no price if you arrive on foot or by bike.

Lake Perris State Recreation Area

Dog-friendly pathways and campsites can be found in Lake Perris State Recreation Area. Dogs aren't allowed within 100 feet of the water, unfortunately. Petzooie can accompany you on the bike track that circles the lake, taking in the sparkling waters and rolling hills in the background. You can also take your dog to one of the nearby campgrounds. Lake Perris is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the week.
