Pawtucket Dog Park

The Pawtucket Dog Park, which opened in June 2011, has quickly become a popular spot within Slater Memorial Park for dogs to run, play, and interact. It's also become a fantastic location to meet new people and form new friendships.

Seasonal activities including the Looff Carousel complement the park's tennis courts, biking trails, and picnic areas.

Following the establishment of the SUFA Facility in Westerly, SUFA aimed to expand its objective of assisting and enhancing the lives of animals, particularly those in shelters.

The Portsmouth Dog Park's objective is to support the upkeep and improvement of the Portsmouth Dog Park, as well as to promote visitor safety, responsible dog ownership, and programs that promote education, training, and well-behaved dogs.

Our dog park is now open, thanks to the Warren Parks and Recreation Department. When our furry four-legged friends and neighbors meet at the park, they will be able to enjoy each other's companionship. There are two separate fenced areas, one for little dogs and the other for large dogs.

The Barrington Dog Park is the first fenced-in dog park in Rhode Island. Kimberly Perrott, a local dog walker and animal enthusiast, founded the dog park in 2005 and campaigned for nearly two years to convince the town and state to approve it.
