Bay Oaks Park is Norfolk's newest park, located one block from the Chesapeake Bay's sandy beaches and shoreline in the heart of Norfolk's Ocean View neighborhood.

This white-sand beach features lifeguards, toilets, and picnic areas, as well as calm waves.

What was once a grassy field has transformed into a fun community for our animal friends. The Ghent Dog Park Association was founded in 2004 with the goal of creating a location full of barks, wagging tails, and furry kisses.

"Beautiful dog park on the river in Norfolk, where dogs may run around and swim if they like. Bring a toy, but expect it to become muddy and be shared with other dogs."

The Brambleton Dog Park, nestled among residential houses, is a green spot in the heart of the neighborhood that has gone to the dogs.

This enclosed dog park with benches and trees for shade will allow your pet to run and play off-leash.
