Lakeshore Park

NewBark Dog Park, Newark's first dog park, will be located at Newark Community Park, on Cedar Boulevard between Newark Boulevard and Chapman Drive, between Newark Boulevard and Chapman Drive. Separate fence-enclosed zones with double-gated entries and exits for small and large dogs, shaded seats, agility equipment, and water for both dogs and owners will be available at the new dog park.

At Dale Hardware, an Ace Hardware affiliate store, dogs are accepted on leash and in carts if they are small enough. Over 100,000 square feet of tools, paint, gardening supplies, timber, barbecues, and other home improvement materials are available for purchase.

Leashed dogs are allowed in the park. Take a walk around the lakes on the trails that surround them.

This enclosed dog park has plenty of activities for your off-leash dog, including fire hydrants, doggy water stations, a separate little dog section, and an obstacle course.

Central Park Lake Elizabeth, located in the heart of Fremont, offers a range of activities as well as stunning views of the Mission Peak Hills and Lake Elizabeth. Central Park is 450 acres in size, featuring an 80-acre lake and a 2-mile pedway that around the lake. Separate turfed portions for little and large dogs, as well as drinking fountains, chairs, and shade structures, are available in the dog park.
