At the south end of Callahan Road off of the Mt. Rose Highway, this lovely 25-acre park is snuggled against the slopes of the Virginia Range. Picnic spots with grills (non-reservable), horseshoe pits, open turf area, two children's playgrounds, drinking fountains, tables, pathway throughout, trailhead, and historic schoolhouse are all available at the park.

This 11-acre park features a three-acre turf area, a group picnic pavilion, individual picnic tables, a small outdoor amphitheater, and children's play equipment. The Lower Thomas Creek Trail is also accessible.
