This dog park is a walled, members-only facility where dogs can run, play, interact, and exercise off-leash. Small and large dogs have their own sections. Concrete pathways, a pavilion, chairs, agility and play equipment for dogs may all be found in the park.

The Battle of Carthage State Historic Site, located in Carthage, Missouri, is a state-owned property. The 7.4-acre site retains one of the skirmish locations from the Battle of Carthage, one of the first conflicts of the American Civil War, which took place in 1861.
