Dog Park Locations
1. Convict Lake
Dogs are welcome at Convict Lake! The Sierra Nevada surrounds the crystal blue lake, which is encircled by Convict Lake Loop Trail, a three-mile hike that leashed dogs are welcome to explore. The trail winds through open sagebrush and pine and aspen woods, and can be walked in either direction, from the parking lot or the marina.

In Mammoth Lakes, CA, the dog-friendly Devils Postpile National Monument offers breathtaking vistas of the Devils Postpile formation as well as Rainbow Falls. All trails within the Monument, as well as the campsite and day use areas, are dog-friendly. On the shuttle buses, dogs are permitted but must be muzzled.

Travel to the peak on the dog-friendly Mammoth Mountain Scenic Gondola in Mammoth Lakes, CA, throughout the summer. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to ride the gondola up the mountain. You may explore the mountain with your leashed pet on one of the numerous picturesque hiking paths once you reach the summit. From nearly 11,000 feet above sea level, take in the vista of the surrounding mountains. Dogs are only permitted to ride the Gondola during the summer.
