Strawberry Patch Park

The Hub City Humane Society is dedicated to caring for homeless, neglected, and abused animals with compassion. We were fortunate in obtaining No-Kill designation, making us one of the few No-Kill shelters in Mississippi. We endeavor to provide the best possible care for our community's homeless and abandoned pets.

Over 800 acres of camping, swimming, boating, fishing, and other activities are available at this state park with lake.

We view the Parks & Recreation Department as a community connector, a health and wellness advocate, and a provider of beautiful parks for people of all ages, abilities, and interests to enjoy, making Hernando A Great Place to Play!

South of Conger Park, across the highway from Tegra Medical, is Renasant Park. Take the dirt route on the highway's west side. On your left, you'll see the skate park.
