Ontario Peak Trail

Telegraph Peak via Manker Flat and Baldy Notch trails is a very difficult (11.4 mile) but dog-friendly walk in Angeles National Forest that will take Petzooie about 8 hours to finish. This route loop includes forests, streams, waterfalls, and mountains, as well as all you could want in terms of breathtaking views. The trail is steep and rocky, and it is at a high altitude, thus it should only be attempted by pets and owners who are accustomed to such terrain. Dogs must be kept on a leash.

Azusa's Bungee America's Bridge to Nowhere Jump is a once-in-a-lifetime event that includes your dog. Your trip begins with a drive through the magnificent San Gabriel Canyon, followed by a 5-mile hike through the Angeles National Forest to the iconic Bridge to Nowhere. Petzooie is allowed to come along on the hike with you so he can see you jump off the bridge. This is not a trip for the faint of heart. Trekking and preparation are essential, and your dog must have extensive backcountry hiking expertise as well as be a strong swimmer with rapid water experience. Year-round, trips are planned on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Mount Baden-Powell Trail, a challenging 9-mile climb in the Angeles National Forest, will take Petzooie roughly 5 hours to accomplish. This climb begins at Dawson Saddle, at an elevation of 7900 feet, and takes you above the smog. You might start from one of a couple of trailheads that will eventually meet up at the ridge.

The fenced-in Etiwanda Creek Community Dog Park allows dogs to romp and play off-leash. There are different spaces for tiny and large dogs in the park.

At the enclosed Baldy View Dog Park, your pet will enjoy running and playing off-leash. A separate space for smaller pets is included in this 5-acre park.

The Cleghorn Ridge OHV Trail in the San Bernardino National Forest is a relatively simple, dog-friendly 12.2 mile trip that will take around 4 hours to accomplish with Petzooie. The trail is open all year and is largely used for ohv/off-road driving. You'll reach the top of a nice ridgeline after a steady climb.
