Cape Henlopen State Park
In the summer, leashed dogs are allowed on the beach at Cape Henlopen State Park, which offers various hiking and bicycling options all year. Pets are welcome to visit the seashore park/beaches at any time of the day (six miles of dog-friendly fun). From May 1 to September 30, dogs are not permitted on the boardwalk, the ocean beach, or any other swimming places designated by the Parks Division as dog-free.
