In the summer, leashed dogs are allowed on the beach at Cape Henlopen State Park, which offers various hiking and bicycling options all year. From May 1 to September 30, dogs are not permitted on the boardwalk, the ocean beach, or any other swimming places designated by the Parks Division as dog-free.
