The 4,000-acre Mendenhall Wetlands State Game Refuge is a vast wildlife sanctuary located along the shores of Gastineau Channel near Juneau, Alaska. Visitors are presented with a variety of recreational opportunities, including hiking, boating, and wildlife viewing. The refuge also boasts great fishing and waterfowl hunting. Petzooie is allowed to tag along on your journey, but be sure to observe the Refuge policies, which include keeping man's best friend on a leash and always cleaning up after your pet.
