This 144-acre land, which was once the Dunes Golf course, was purchased by the City of Jacksonville in 1994. The City's top disc golf course is one of the attractions at this large park in the Arlington area.

Dog owners go to Dupree Park's dog park, which has a fenced off-leash area with running water and shaded places. There are also various walking pathways in the park, notably the 1.3-mile paved Sertoma Trail. The park has benches, picnic tables, barbecues, and other amenities.

Germania Springs Dog Park is a fenced dog park adjacent to the children's park and baseball fields of Germania Springs Park. Dogs can also enjoy an obstacle course and water in the dog park.
20. Chief Ladiga Trail
Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Chief Ladiga Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Jacksonville!
