Freedom Run Dog Park

The Hoffman Estates Park District has two open areas where dogs can run off-leash, as well as plenty of amenities for dogs and their best friends to enjoy the outdoors together. Bo's Run is located at Willow Recreation Center on the north side of Hoffman Estates.

Over 704 acres of golf, tennis, and baseball facilities, as well as beautiful gardens.

Baseball/softball, soccer, and football fields, as well as a children's play area and a snack stand.

The Arlington Heights Park District is one of the Chicago metropolitan area's oldest and largest park systems. It can be regarded one of the most elaborate park districts northwest of Chicago, with two golf clubs and five outdoor pools plus one indoor pool.

Permits can be purchased through the Alcott Center for the Arts. The annual or daily use permit can be downloaded and returned to the Alcott Center for processing.

A trailered boat launch and fishing are available at Beck Lake. The facility also offers an off-leash dog area and a trail connection to the Des Plaines Trail System, and is located across Central Avenue from Oakton Community College.
