Shafer's Run Community Park

The park system in Hamilton is unique, with 40 parks, two golf courses, recreational facilities, and over 1,300 acres of natural and woodland parkland, including five designated Natural Areas.

The Species Preserve Regional is an 82-acre scenic preserve located at 1810 New London Road in Hamilton, Ohio, including a playground, bathrooms, a drinking fountain, creek, forests, a prairie, meadows, and a wetland, all of which provide diverse habitat for the variety of area wildlife found here.
