1. Lake Guntersville State Park
The dog-friendly Lake Guntersville State Park, located along the Tennessee River in Northeast Alabama, offers to satisfy whether you're searching for a resort-style vacation or an outdoor adventure in the park's 6,000 acres of natural woodlands. An 18-hole championship golf course, a beach complex, an outdoor nature center, outstanding fishing in Alabama's largest lake, 36 miles of hiking and bicycling trails, weekly guided hikes, and a day-use area are among the park's many recreational options. Dogs are allowed in most areas of the park if they are on a leash. For safety concerns, several bike and equestrian riding trails do not allow dogs. In stores, food service areas, bathhouses, pools, and swimming areas, dogs are not permitted.Dogs must not be left unattended, and if left in a heated car, they will be confiscated.

Guntersville Dog Park is a dog park located in Tom Jackson Park near the lake in Guntersville. The park is located just behind the little league baseball grounds, off Sunset Drive. A nice walking track and a children's play area are both located near the dog park. There is a separate area for tiny dogs and a separate space for large dogs in the dog park.
