Dogs are welcome on the bayside beach at Fort Morgan Historic Site. Owners must keep their dogs on a leash at all times and tidy up after them. Only the Mobile bayside beach, which stretches from the old Fort Morgan Pier to the Old Fisherman's Wharf, accepts dogs. Dogs are not permitted past the Old Fisherman's Wharf since it is a Federal Wildlife Area. The beach is located just before the Dauphin Island boat and before the fort's entrance.
