You can skijor or snowshoe with your dog on 22 kilometers of dog-friendly tracks at Arizona Nordic Village. In the winter, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are available, while in the summer, hiking, running, and bike paths are available.

15. Sinclair Wash Trail

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Sinclair Wash Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an underused railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Fido in Flagstaff!

Walking tour of the "Good Enough Mine," which was renovated in 1878. Ed Schieffelin, the town's founder, discovered it. Call for group information if you have a pet. Dogs are allowed in most portions of the Coconino National Forest as long as they are on a 6-foot leash. Please refer to the websites for further information on where dogs are not permitted. Coconino, Lake Mary Picnic Area, Lava River Cave, and Red Mountain Trail are all worth seeing.

On the magnificent hiking trails of this wildlife area, located about 20 miles north of Flagstaff, dogs are allowed off-leash. On this one-of-a-kind trail, you might see a broad range of birds, insects, and animals. There are two paths at this location. A short circle has been paved to accommodate wheelchairs. A longer circle, 4 feet wide with native surface and on flat ground, is an easy hike. Both routes offer an interpretive educational experience.

Upper Lake Mary is one of two constructed lakes near Flagstaff, Arizona, and is part of the Coconino National Forest Recreation Area. It is popular for swimming, boating, and other water activities. In most places of the park, dogs are welcome. There are numerous parking lots along the road where you can park and walk down to the lake.
