A lovely little campground is nestled behind a crystal-clear river, providing excellent fishing opportunities and a relaxing location to spend the day. There is a walkway along the river behind the campsites for those who prefer hikes and the chance to see animal and plant life up close. You can fish for grayling, whitefish, or salmon at the end of the trek.

For those traveling between Tok and Fairbanks, Delta State Recreation Site is a popular stopover. This campground provides tourists with a wilderness experience while also keeping them close to town for events and shopping. Nearby, you'll find stores, commercial showers, and other services. There are 25 constructed campsites, a picnic area, a covered picnic shelter, water, and toilets at Delta State Recreation Site. Fly-in camping is possible because to a nearby city airstrip.

Quartz Lake State Recreation Area is a 600-acre park with a wide range of recreational options that draws huge people. To accommodate huge numbers, the recreation area borders two lakes and offers facilities near to the lakes. At Quartz Lake State Recreation Area, hiking is becoming increasingly popular. The park offers five hiking routes for guests to explore and enjoy.The Tanana River Valley, Alaska Range, Shaw Creek Flats, Quartz and Lost Lakes, and Moose Pond may all be seen from these routes. The trails also provide opportunity to see animals. Quartz Lake State Recreation Area is ten miles north of Delta Junction, accessible via a three-mile route off the Richardson Highway at mile 277.8.

Donnelly Creek State Recreation Site, on the Delta River's braided course, is one of the state's most magnificent campgrounds, with vistas of the Alaska Range's greatest peaks. There is also a fantastic opportunity to study alpine plant life here. This isolated wilderness campground provides 12 campsites, restrooms, and water and is rarely busy.
