Cherokee Bluffs Dam Railroad Trail

At John B Scott Forever Wild Trail, dogs are welcome to accompany their owners. This 4.4-mile circular trail near Tallassee, Alabama, runs alongside a beautiful river. It begins at the north end of the Goldmine Road parking lot, follows Yates Lake south through Kudzu Bluff, and then descends the historic Double Bridges Ferry Road switchback.

Wind Creek State Park in Alexander City, Alabama, is a dog-friendly state park and trail where Petzooie is welcome to accompany you on-leash to explore the park's hiking trails, as well as a range of other outdoor activities such as viewing the Piedmont Plateau or visiting the Lake Martin Amphitheater. Dogs are allowed on the campgrounds and in two of the cabins for an extra cost.

Petro owns a travel agency.This facility features a special area set aside for pets in need of exercise or a rest. For quick cleanup, waste bags and garbage receptacles are also supplied. Pet care products are also available at TA and Petro Travel Stores.

A small dog area, agility equipment, a gorgeous stream, and two ponds for pets to play in are all available at this pleasant off-leash dog park.

Petzooie is welcome to join you on a hike along the Lagoon Park Trail. Lagoon Park Trail, which spans 176 acres, features miles of natural surface routes that "meander through hardwood woodland and pine plains, over meadows, along a creek, and around a gorgeous lagoon." Dogs must be cleaned up after and kept on a leash throughout their trip.
