1. Cherokee Bluffs Dam Railroad Trail

Pets are welcome on the Cherokee Bluffs Dam Railroad Trail. This trail is open to both you and your canine companion. The trail follows a historic railroad bed that was utilized in the construction of Martin Dam in the early 1920s. Upper and lower trails are available to choose from. The low-line railroad trail runs up to a brook for 2.7 kilometers one way.

2. John B Scott Forever Wild Trail

At John B Scott Forever Wild Trail, dogs are welcome to accompany their owners. This 4.4-mile circular trail near Tallassee, Alabama, runs alongside a beautiful river. It begins at the north end of the Goldmine Road parking lot, follows Yates Lake south through Kudzu Bluff, and then descends the historic Double Bridges Ferry Road switchback.
