Alabama Outdoors welcomes pets. Alabama Outdoors was one of the first stores of its kind in the area when it opened in 1975. This well-known outdoor company sells high-quality outerwear, shoes, and equipment for a variety of outdoor activities, including climbing and hiking. Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Alabama Outdoors is open.

To go, TA has Popeyes, Minit Mart, and O'Deli's. This facility features a special area set aside for pets in need of exercise or a rest. For quick cleanup, waste bags and garbage receptacles are also supplied. Pet care products are also available at TA and Petro Travel Stores.

Serda Brewing is a pet-friendly establishment. Porters, pilsners, and IPAs are among the beers served at this small brewery. Puppies are welcome on the patio or inside. Hungry hounds can get their fill from one of the visiting food trucks, get a bite from the bar, or bring their own food. Serda Brewing is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Pets are welcome at Folklore Brewing & Meadery. The tasting area, which is housed on a historic family farm, has over 14 varieties of beer and 8 or more house-made meads to sample and order a glass of. Growlers can be filled, and 6-packs of beer can be purchased to take home. Dogs must be on a leash. This 520-acre roadside park in rural Marengo County is nestled away along U.S. 43. The dog-friendly Chickasaw State Park is ideal for family gatherings or as a base camp for your Black Belt excursion, with modern campsites, a wading pool, rental pavilions, playground equipment, and plenty of green space. Most park areas allow dogs as long as they are leashed. For safety concerns, several bike and equestrian riding trails do not allow dogs. In stores, food service areas, bathhouses, pools, and swimming areas, dogs are not permitted. Fido cannot be left unsupervised, and if left in a hot car, he will be confiscated.

Pet-friendly pontoon rentals are available at Hudson Marina. Rent a pontoon for the day with your leashed dog. The beautiful waters are ideal for a family outing. The marina is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day of the week.

In front of the building, Common Bond Brewers features a dog-friendly terrace. Petzooie is welcome to join you on the patio, but not inside or on the building's back terrace. Common Bond, which claims to be the city's only production brewery, was founded with the goal of bringing the community together. A variety of ales are available on tap, including amber, rye, blonde, and pale. Common Bond Brewers is open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Pets are welcome at Big Spring International Park. This unique sculpture park in downtown Huntsville is a popular dog-walking destination. The park is situated around Big Spring, the original water source upon which the city of Huntsville was founded. You and your dog can walk the trails and look at the amazing art and sculptures that are always changing along the routes and paths.
