Rocky Mountain National Park has paved roads to access all the beautiful places inside. Leashed dogs are allowed to walk along these roads under the owner’s supervision. I suggest you must try the Endovalley picnic area which is quite suitable for on-leash dog runs.

The park has a spacious parking service inside and you can play with your dog there. Similarly, scenic drives inside the park are a great way to make your dog enjoy his surroundings. Keeping the dog inside the car is important and recommended during your scenic drive.

Service and emotional support dogs can ease the struggles of visitors with disabilities. The park only permits the service dogs to enter the buildings and on trails. Unfortunately, emotional support dogs are not allowed at Rocky Mountain National Park.

Dog Boarding Services During Hiking on Trails

As the dogs are not allowed on trails, you can avail of the services of some kennels just outside the Rocky Mountain National Park. Ester Park, Colo is located on the park’s east entrance, and Grand Lake on the west entrance allows pet boarding.

It is important to talk and book the kennel for your dog before you visit the park. Otherwise, you’ll face the problem of filled kennels because of the high dog boarding demand by these places.
