Painted Acres Animal Rescue

The only goal of the 501c3 non-profit Hocking County Humane Society is to rescue abused, neglected, and abandoned animals.

A charitable 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to animal welfare, the Athens County Humane Society (ACHS) is situated in Athens, Ohio. We work to guarantee the best possible treatment, care, and placement of animals in need by offering affordable spay/neuter treatments, employing the county Humane Agent, and other measures.

Collaborating with the Athens neighborhood to give stray, surrendered, or abandoned dogs a somewhere to stay, food, and love until suitable homes can be located. to end canine abuse, neglect, and cruelty in Athens County and its environs.

The sole source of funding for A Little Patch of Heaven Animal Rescue, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is contributions. All financial and in-kind donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

We offer affordable, high-quality flea and tick prevention products for dogs and cats. We also assist organizations throughout Ohio, Florida, and the rest of the nation with the rehoming of animals in need.
