Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue

The Animal Services Section is in charge of running the Yolo County Animal Services shelter and providing animal control services to the county's cities, unincorporated areas, and University of California at Davis property. We strive to provide our clients with courteous service while maintaining their safety.

The Front Street Animal Shelter is open every day from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 2127 Front Street (with Broadway as a cross street). We welcome walk-ins. For speedier service, appointments can be made.

The privately funded non-profit SPCA of Solano County was established in 1974. The SPCASC is committed to helping adoptable animals in Solano County find loving, responsible homes.

The Cats About Town Society collaborates with two animal shelters to take in cats that are about to be put to sleep. We take in cats because we have room and foster parents who can support us. The public frequently comes up to us asking for help with found or abandoned cats and kittens.

A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Vintage Pug Senior Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue, retirement, and hospice care of unwanted or abandoned senior pugs.
