In Viroqua, Wisconsin, there is a no-kill dog and cat shelter called the Driftless Humane Society. No matter the age, condition, or temperament of the surrendered cats or dogs, we take them all.

The only humane organization and stray-holding facility in La Crosse County is the Coulee Region Humane Society, which was founded in 1971 and is situated in Onalaska, Wisconsin. The finest care for all animals housed at the shelter is and has always been our priority. We put a lot of effort into serving as their voice, our ally, and caregiver.

For more than 40 years, the Lakeland Animal Shelter has been rescuing abandoned animals in southeast Wisconsin and elsewhere.

The Wisconsin Humane Society is dedicated to giving wild and abandoned animals shelter, care, and protection. Every year, they are able to rescue, rehab, and rehome thousands of animals like me thanks to kind supporters like you.

The Waupun Area Animal Shelter, Inc. was founded to help the City of Waupun and the surrounding areas by treating stray and unwanted pets in an ethical, legal, and compassionate manner. It also works to create awareness in the Waupun area to encourage responsible pet ownership.

The mission of Angel's Wish in South Central Wisconsin is to combat animal overpopulation, rehome companion animals, and increase public awareness of problems with animal care.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with private funding, The Hugs & Kisses Animal Fund supports humane organizations with money. Its goal is to serve as the small animal rescue organizations' outsourced fundraising department.

The Carl W. Nelson Animal Shelter, a 501C3 charity in Mauston, Wisconsin, carries on Carl W. Nelson's legacy. For the homeless animals in Juneau County, we provide a cutting-edge no-kill animal shelter. The State of Wisconsin has granted us a DATCP license with the number 411646. Our non-profit organization's goal is to assist homeless animals through community outreach initiatives, our adoption program, and humane education initiatives. The Madison Cat Project helps other shelters and our neighborhood save cats. We assist hundreds of cats (and people) every year, whether it be by working with local shelters to bring in cats in need of a second chance or by providing farmers and other people who require assistance with managing their outdoor cat colonies with affordable spay/neuter surgeries and rehoming options.
