H.O.P.E. Safehouse

(Help for Orphaned Pets through Education) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit animal care organization that serves as a "safehouse" for animals that have been lost, hurt, neglected, or abandoned. We spread the virtues of protection, shelter, and compassion to all creatures under our care, in our homes, on the streets, and in the wild through education and example. We receive funding from fundraising activities and tax-deductible donations.

Rescue Outreach, Inc.

We are a team of neighborhood animal rescues dedicated to preserving animal life. Hazard and Harlan, both in Kentucky, are the locations of the shelters from which these animals are being rescued. We came to the realization that there IS anything we can do to change things at this point. We got in touch with Starfish Animal Rescue to try and stop this awful incident. Starfish transports animals from these rural locations to secure, devoted rescues and homes in collaboration with neighborhood rescues.
