Claws & Paws is comparable to Mary's third kid. She sees it as more than just a job; it's her daughter's legacy. Mary's kid was constantly encouraging her to move forward in life. Aaron, Mary's son, was also crucial in starting this organization.

The Arenac County Board of Commissioners administers Arenac Co Animal Control as a county-funded program. The entire county of Arenac is serviced by Arenac County Animal Control, which yearly cares for about 1000 animals.

Our objective is to instill compassion toward these creatures as well as compassion for people unable to care for them. "The Roscommon County Animal Shelter and Animal Control are dedicated to the care and humane treatment of all animals found stray, abandoned, or surrendured in Roscommon County."

Only a tiny number of VERY committed, like-minded people make up our 501 c 3 no kill non profit rescue and refuge. As a result, we are no longer just coworkers who volunteer together; we are now family.

Since it opened more than 30 years ago, the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter has saved and enhanced the lives of thousands of stray cats and dogs. Our directors, staff, and volunteers put in a lot of effort to support our aim of giving animals loving, permanent homes.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Humane Society of Midland County is committed to helping unwanted and abandoned animals find loving, long-term homes. The sole animal shelter in Midland County is run and maintained by our small staff and committed volunteers.
