Waxahachie Animal Control Center

The SPCA of Texas was established in 1938 and is the oldest and most complete animal protection organization in North Texas. Every animal will receive outstanding care and a loving home as part of our purpose.

In an effort to give stray or abandoned animals a decent life, the Red Oak Animal Shelter works to find them "forever homes."

When necessary, we will still allow an animal to be redeemed by making an appointment with ACO staff outside of the listed hours.

The City of Lancaster Animal Services Division runs the Lancaster Animal Shelter.

The Neighborhood Services Department of the City of Lancaster includes Lancaster Animal Services. Animal Services works to safeguard the welfare, health, and safety of both people and animals in the neighborhood.
