The City of Daingerfield Animal Shelter Department is committed to promoting the welfare, health, and protection of both people and animals in our community and offers the following services to all citizens.

The City of Mount Pleasant and Titus County are served by the Mount Pleasant Animal Care and Adoption Center. We collaborate with rescues to place our animals in new homes, reconnect missing animals with their owners, and adopt unclaimed animals.

Located in the center of Marshall, Texas, The Pet Place of Marshall is a private non-profit pet adoption facility.

The oldest animal shelter in Texas, Marshall, became the newest on August 9th, 2021! A building that was approximately five times larger than the 53-year-old, less than 1500-square-foot one was installed in its place.

The Animal Control and Animal Shelter Staff in the City of Marshall are committed to the welfare and well-being of the animals in our neighborhood.

Since 2011, Texas Star Rescue has been operating in Longview, Texas, to lessen the amount of animals put to death in nearby shelters.
