Nicholas County Animal Shelter

Our mission is to find dogs loving, FOREVER homes and to aid in the control of the pet population. Please do not request to adopt an unneutered or spayed dog since all dogs will leave the shelter fixed.

Its goal is to stop neglect and animal maltreatment. The Humane Society is a non-governmental organization that, in accordance with the Raleigh County Commission and the City of Beckley, upholds state and local animal legislation.

The Greenbrier Humane Society was founded in 1965 and became a nonprofit organization in 1986. The GHS has evolved over time to meet the demands of the rural communities it serves. Numerous initiatives are coordinated by the Greenbrier Humane Society. The spay/neuter program, adoption, lost & found, and instructional initiatives with nearby schools are some of these programs.

A 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, Please Save A Cat, Inc. All of our employees are volunteers. The care of the cats and kittens is the only purpose of any donations raised.

Humane Association of Kanawha and Charleston. Any glance into an animal's existence quickens our own and expands it significantly, improving it in every way.

For county dogs and cats, HSPC gives discounted coupons for spaying, neutering, and rabies shots all year round. We also provide the neighborhood with humane education.
