The Greenbrier Humane Society was founded in 1965 and became a nonprofit organization in 1986. The GHS has evolved over time to meet the demands of the rural communities it serves. Numerous initiatives are coordinated by the Greenbrier Humane Society. The spay/neuter program, adoption, lost & found, and instructional initiatives with nearby schools are some of these programs.
