Friends of the Santa Monica Animal Shelter

Our ideal society includes compassion for animals, which are fellow sentient beings. We provide the most vulnerable animals a second shot at life, love, and respect via our innovative rescue, spay/neuter, and educational programs. Foster or adopt a dog right away.

The Animal Services Unit in Santa Monica provides a range of services with the goal of advancing and defending the health, welfare, and security of both people and animals.

A volunteer Board of Directors governs the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization known as the Santa Monica Animal Shelter Foundation. Our goal is to support the Santa Monica Animal Shelter financially.

Through cutting-edge canine-centered initiatives like the Prison/Re-Entry, People & Pet Innovation Center, First Responder and PTSD Support, Adoptions, Transports, and Vet Tech Program, Paws For Life K9 Rescue saves and transforms the lives of both people and animals.

We must exert every effort to keep families and pets together, healthy, and neutered, according to Karma.

We are a little dog rescue group with a focus on Maltese, Lhasa Apso, Shih Tzu, and other tiny, hairy dogs under 20 pounds.
