Santa Barbara Humane-Santa Maria Campus

Dog fostering is encouraged by the Santa Barbara County Animal Services in order to make room for a renovation project in Santa Maria.

Since 1987, Santa Barbara County and the non-profit Companion Animal Placement Assistance (CAPA) have worked together in Lompoc to save lives. Providing the finest care possible for the animals is our goal at Santa Barbara County Animal Services.

Between 100 and 150 cats and kittens are housed in open rooms and patios equipped with climbing trees, cuddly beds, and cubbies at VIVA's no-kill, cage-free cat shelter in Lompoc.

Shadow was a cherished family pet and close friend. After he was discovered abandoned at the age of 15, tied to a tree, we adopted him. To pay tribute to Shadow and preserve a portion of his enormous heart, we established Shadow's Fund.

A non-profit, humane organization called Feline Network of the Central Coast is based in San Luis Obispo and is committed to caring for, rescuing, and adopting kittens and cats as well as spaying and neutering them.

Old Yeller Ranch Rescue is committed to rescuing needy dogs from Californian shelters.
