Harbor Animal Care Center

We are an organization dedicated to animal welfare that is 501(c)3 and based at Creative Pet Supply. We rescue dogs from shelters in LA County and LA City.

Whiskers & Tails Foundation is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit local pet rescue organization based in Rancho Palos Verdes, Southern California.  

Early in 1998, Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. was founded. Since that time, we have expanded from the original seven volunteer members to approximately 150 volunteers who help Labrador Retrievers in need all around Southern California.

Because disabled dogs are the first to be put to death, we rescue from high-kill shelters and collaborate with a network of rescue organizations.

We specifically exist to rescue and adopt animals kittens and cats that are sociable, caring, and fed kittens and wild or abandoned cats in the South Area in Los Angeles County called Bay, San Pedro.

It was the tremendous love and care of volunteers working at local shelters who realized they could do more and took action that led to the creation of Save Pound Animals thru Rescue & Education.
