Salem Animal Shelter

Animal shelters are redefining their roles to incorporate resources, activities, and services that help both the dogs and their owners in our communities, thanks to Angels of Assisi.

In Virginia's Blue Ridge, a community resource called the Roanoke Valley SPCA offers services for pet adoption, retention, and education.

To provide short-term shelter for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals in order to either return them to their owners or find them permanent, suitable new homes. To do this, as well as to provide cost-effective sheltering through regional partnerships to ensure the highest live release rate practical for our community.

While we at Star City Greyhounds want to place our puppies in loving homes, we also want to make sure that you are aware of what it means to live with a greyhound.

The Franklin County Humane Society, which is based in Rocky Mount, Virginia, was established in 1977 to stop animal abuse.

By encouraging rescue, adoption, and spay/neuter, we hope to build a community where all dogs and cats have the opportunity to live healthy, happy lives in adoring homes.
