We adore our volunteers and couldn't run the shelter successfully without their crucial assistance. A simple questionnaire will be sent to potential volunteers to complete for a quick background check.

In Virginia's Blue Ridge, a community resource called the Roanoke Valley SPCA offers services for pet adoption, retention, and education.

To provide short-term shelter for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals in order to either return them to their owners or find them permanent, suitable new homes. To do this, as well as to provide cost-effective sheltering through regional partnerships to ensure the highest live release rate practical for our community.
