2nd Chance Animal Rescue of Richmond, Inc

A group of ladies who cared about animal welfare in the Wayne County region founded the Animal Welfare League Inc. of Richmond in June 1944.

A no-kill shelter is run by HELP the Animals, Inc. (Humane Existence for Lost Pets), which gives lost or abandoned dogs and cats—who are occasionally victims of cruelty, abuse, and/or neglect—a place to live.

We are appreciative of the kind fostering families who welcome homeless cats into their hearts and homes.

The Fayette County Animal Shelter offers assistance with pet adoption and homecoming for stray animals. Our passion is for animals, and we will do everything in our power to care for the animals in our neighborhood.

Pat Burton had numerous missions to create a better animal world in Henry County, much like Noah had a mission to build an ark. . . for those unable to express themselves.
