The Barking Lot (APPOINTMENT ONLY)

We care for more than 40,000 animals a year as a national leader in animal welfare, offering shelter, veterinary treatment, behavior training, and other services. Along with animal control, lost and found, licensing, and humane law enforcement services, we also contract with jurisdictions.

In an effort to place our adoptable dogs in the most suitable forever homes, we offer medical care, caring foster homes, and adoption counseling.

Rescuing and rehabilitating  and instruction for dogs adopted  till you are mature and loving th ere are houses.

We actively engage in public breed education, rescue work, foster care rehabilitation, animal training, terrier expertise, and frequently, life-saving medical care and placement in vetted forever homes, as our mission statement makes clear.

Numerous thousands of greyhounds have been rescued, treated, and placed in loving homes since 1987 thanks to the non-profit Greyhound Adoption Center (Houndsavers).
