Mommy & Me is a no-kill, charitable non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue facility that serves central Pennsylvania. It is licensed by the Pennsylvania state. No matter the cause, we are committed to saving dogs that need homes. We frequently take in stray dogs, puppies from puppy mills, dogs with unique needs who need considerable medical care, and cases of animal abuse.

The purpose of the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, a no-kill facility, is to promote the humane treatment and welfare of all domestic animals by doing the following: provide shelter and medical attention to stray, unwanted, abandoned, and neglected animals in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.

A nonprofit group called Patriot K9 Rescue generates money to provide care for former police dogs, retired contract working dogs, and retired military working dogs.

Unwanted dogs and cats are cared for and housed at the Hazleton Animal Shelter by a nonprofit group until they are adopted or given back to their owners.

The goal of the society is to prevent animal cruelty effectively, to uphold all animal protection laws, and to ensure that anyone breaking these laws is apprehended, found guilty, and punished in a legal manner.
