AWA Animal Shelter

An offshoot of the Dexter Police Department is the Dexter Animal Shelter. They are accountable for collecting stray canines and giving them a temporary home at the shelter. The facility is always receiving additional canines!

Personnel from Sikeston Pet and Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) run the city's animal shelter and animal control program.

We solely rely on donations as a 501c3 non-profit organization in the State of Missouri. Without the support of our neighbors and our kind donors, we could not exist. Here is a button to donate quickly and tax-deductible! Items are also needed for the animal shelter!

We are an independent, nonprofit group working to make Southeast Missouri a better place for both people and animals. We picture a neighborhood where each pet has a cozy home.

Safe Harbor is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter. In 2016, Safe Harbor reopened under new leadership. Every year, on average, we place 180 to 220 cats for adoption. Additionally, each year about 100 dogs.

501c3 not-for-profit Farmington Pet Adoption Center, better known as FPAC, is a no-kill animal sanctuary. Our objective is to place all of the stray cats and dogs in Parkland with loving families.
