Pittsburgh's Humane Animal Rescue is one of the biggest animal welfare non-profits in Pennsylvania.

The Allegheny Abused Animal Relief Fund (AAARF!) provides assistance to groups that care for abused and neglected animals.

Our goal is to provide assistance to all pets, regardless of their behavior, size, or age. Every pet deserves a second chance, and we work hard to give them one.

We are a nonpartisan, inclusive group that values diversity. All animals, in our opinion, are lovely and deserving of a good life and a loving home.

For a number of circumstances, many dogs find up in shelters or rescue organizations like ours. The German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue PA, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has received IRS recognition and cares for and places GSPs in responsible homes throughout Pennsylvania.

Our goal is to rescue and rehome pitbull-type dogs in Pittsburgh and the neighborhood. As a tiny rescue, our main goals are to inform the public about responsible pet ownership, science-based, positive training methods, and the significance of spaying and neutering their animals.
