Gertrude Maxwell established Save A Pet Florida, Inc. in 1978 under the name "Save Precious Lives, Inc." On January 19, 1988, the organization's name was changed to Save A Pet Florida, Inc.

We are committed to the rescue of harmed, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats, the spaying and neutering of unwanted litters, and the community education of animal rights and welfare.

Although Animal Rescue Force of South Florida, Inc., which became incorporated on September 2, 2005, may appear to be a brand-new organization, A.R.F. was actually established on October 12, 1974 in East Brunswick, New Jersey, as a result of "Animal Day," a declaration made by then-Mayor Walling and under their leadership.

The Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches, Inc.'s mission is to care for, protect, and reunite homeless and mistreated companion animals with loving homes by offering sanctuary to lost, abandoned, and unwanted animals, as well as spay and neuter and other veterinary care.

We work to lessen their suffering, ensure their safety and comfort, and try to keep them in homes that will take care of them responsibly for the rest of their lives.

Dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds are saved by Blessed Paws Animal Rescue from a life of abandonment, abuse, or neglect.
