A 501c3 no-kill humane society, NAWS' mission is to transform the field of animal welfare. We need to find other solutions to the problem of companion animal overpopulation and suffering until there are appropriate federal and state regulations.

Most animal shelters in and around the state of Illinois, including P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter of Tinley Park, are overburdened with the number of abandoned and stray dogs and cats.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization called Lulu's Locker Rescue works to dispel myths about FIV cats as well as the plight of black cats, dogs, and senior/hospice animals housed in shelters.

Preventing animal abuse is our mission. Our adoption program enables us to give animals loving homes. Humane education can help people understand and care for all living things. Animals that are unwanted or homeless should be given shelter and care.

Cat rescue organization Kitties for Keeps is non-profit, no-kill, and volunteer-based. We are committed to saving lovable, adoptable cats (old or young) who are homeless or in danger of being put down.
