Olathe Animal Shelter

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, foster-based rescue that is committed to saving and rehoming cats and kittens that are in danger of being put down, facing being taken into the shelter system, or who are in danger of being homeless.

Founded in 2008, Kitty City Kansas Rescue We had the good fortune to relocate to our building in 2014, which is close to Lenexa's historic downtown. Over the years, we have undergone changes, but our guiding values have remained constant.

To find loving homes for orphaned, mistreated, neglected, and abandoned cats while providing them with the necessary care and medical attention.

We provide care for over 14,000 animals annually, collaborate with other animal welfare organizations to increase the adoption of stray animals, and place a special emphasis on life-saving initiatives that encourage pet retention, identification, lost pet reunions, and pet ownership education among the general public.

The goal of Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary is to give our senior furry friends a place to call home where they can live out their days in comfort, whether those days are counted in weeks, months, or years.

Animals in need of a second chance to become cherished family pets can find homes and safe haven via Melissa's Second Chances, a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue in Shawnee, Kansas.
