East Alabama Humane Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to rescuing and caring for abandoned, neglected, and homeless animals. Our goal is to provide these animals with shelter, medical attention, and loving homes through our adoption services. We also focus on educating the community about responsible pet ownership and the importance of animal welfare. The Hale County Animal Shelter is a facility for stray, unwanted, and owner-rendered animals, including dogs and cats, in Hale County. It is situated in Greensboro, Alabama. The Hale County Animal Shelter might also provide a huge selection of other services.

As a no-kill facility, Walker County residents are the ONLY ones who can use our services. Only by appointment and for a $10 per animal fee are surrenders accepted. Adoption fees for dogs are $100 and for cats are $50. There is no reimbursement of any costs.
